HP&C has added the SermaGard® line of sacrificial metallic/ceramic and non-sacrificial barrier coatings to its extensive line of wear and corrosion resistant coatings.
SermaGard coatings are designed for high temperature and corrosion critical applications

HP&C has announced the development of new, proprietary electroless nickel (EN) processes and equipment to plate the internal surfaces of high-pressure gas cylinders; achieving 99.99% coverage with a uniformly thin layer of plated nickel. According to William Howard, President and CEO of HP&C , “Since HP&C’s new EN plating processes can plate many cylinders at one time, we can deliver a large quantity of plated cylinders at a significantly lower cost.”

Houston Plating & Coatings has been selected as the #1 Coating Shop in North America and one of only 50 “Top Shops” for plating by Products Finishing magazine in its annual assessment of plating and coating shops. HP&C is the only Texas shop selected for the recognition in plating services. The Products Finishing Top Shops Benchmarking Survey included more than 40 questions with the top 50 shops in North America being recognized as a “Top Shop.”
